Job Title: Wireless Hardware Solutions Specialist
Length of assignment: 6 Mo
Part-Time; 20hrs/wk

Job Description:

Were looking for someone who can bridge gap between engineering and marketing, this person is part of a team that strategically proposes technologies and defines product requirements based on a good understanding of target user needs, user scenarios, competitive landscape, carrier requirements, technology progression, etc.

Rather than writing 5 page engineering docs that business cant wade through, someone who can make the translationwe COULD go up to 40 hrs week for right person. Do want someone to work on campus, a student who can give at least 6 months on coop could work, 3 months too short:

The person will be helping director with some of the none-wireless hardware investigations, technology tracking, and benchmarking effort. If anyone can help out in any 2~3 different hardware areas, then s/he can bring value to the team. The kind of hardware help needed can be in:

ARM processor technologies for handsets
Multimedia technologies for handsets
Mobile display technologies
Batteries / fuel cells for handsets
Camera for handsets
Memory / Storage for handsets
Security technologies for handsets

This person could be a product manager, an Applications Engineer, a Technical Sales engineer- someone who has both technical and business capability
