Description
Title: Wireless Network InstallerNumber of positions: 2Location: Huntsville, AL Travel: 50-60%Security Clearance: DSS background check may be required. In need of two experienced Wireless Network Administrators for WIDS (Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems) integrations and installations. Will be involved with the installation and integration of secure wireless technology for clients throughout the U.S. and Internationally. Many of these clients will include military installations, so knowledge of military hierarchy would be very helpful. 50-60% travel requirement. Will spend one week on-site (Army Base) then one week at All Points Huntsville planning for and performing pre-configuration for the next installation. Will be required to make decisions on wireless access points and make recommendations based on factors affecting wireless distances. Initially there will be 16 locations with estimated completion date of April 2006. If all goes smoothly additional locations may follow leading to more work. Candidate will initially go through in-house training to become educated on the proprietary security configuration developed for military bases and commercial clients requiring a highly secure wireless solution.

Requirements:

A thorough knowledge of various wireless security products and wireless protocols is required. Understanding the complexities of wireless technologies; analyzing the site specific requirements in conjunction with emerging technologies and clients specifications.
