Description of duties and responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a creative genius with a passion for design! They are an emerging wireless organization with a hip, exciting culture?

We need to locate an experienced Web Designer with experience in the wireless industry. This position would work directly with cross-functional teams to create new UI designs for their customers and internal applications. Some of the specific responsibilities would be to:

- Work with Product Managers and Marketing to design the information architecture & user flow for applications.
- Create user interface and layout designs for applications.
- Create flexible designs that can be re-used across various products.
- Work with product managers to write software requirements and specifications for new projects.
- Design and develop internal applications.
- Work with QA and testing team.
- Work on multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Work seamlessly between team and independent environments.
- Conform to standards and style requirements of internal MarCom team.

Description of job requirements:
- 3+ yrs exp design and production in the wireless industry.
- Mark up exp (WAP) required.
- Exp with J2ME and/or SMS/MMS is a plus.
- Expert level knowledge and exp with XHTML specs.
- Demonstrated ability with design software and languages such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, XHTML, CSS and Actionscript - portfolio of work required.
- Must have demonstrated exp with standards based web design.
- Follow art direction, as well as interpret and apply style guides.
- Solid exp in creating graphics specifically for internet applications.
- Prefer candidate with exp in an open standards/open source dev environment.
- Prefer exp with JAVA, UML and JMS.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills - MUST have ability to multi-task!
- Professional attitude -- comfortable working in a corporate setting with diverse workforce.df-tc
