Description
Works with the End User Devices Team Lead and Technical Team Project Manager to ensure end product meets project goals and objectives

Responsible for the design and creation of World Wide Web and intranet sites, including activities.

Writing Web applications utilizing scripting language such as VB.NET, JavaScript and advanced object-oriented programming languages such as J2EE.

Leading code reviews to ensure Web applications are properly documented and conform to SHC and W3C standards, particular regarding CSS2, XHTML 1.1, HTML, DOM, Javascript and WCAG (Accessibility Guidelines).

Creating intuitive, flexible User Interfaces for major Web Browsers (Internet Explorer 5.0+, Firefox 1.0+, Netscape 6.0+, Opera 6.0+, Safari.

Working with Database Administrators, Security engineers and Programmer analysts to develop complex, multi-component applications within a heterogeneous technical environment

Assists in development of unit, integration and performance testing activities
Debugging complex applications with multi-threaded algorithms, real time processing and multiple touch points with other systems
Documents requirements and code
Works with Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and other technical resources to ensure goals and objectives of the project are met
Works with vendors to ensure maximum and optimal use of tools and data to create the web environment's functionalitydf-tc

Experience/Skills
MS IIS
Java, XML, CSS
Strong communication skills - written and oral
Web integration development experience
Experience with web applications, web portal and/or web integration development
Strong skills with .NET and Cold Fusion technologies
Experience creating and consuming Web Services, XML and heavy SQL Server development
Well-versed in UI development (UI design, WebForms, JavaScript, DHTML/HTML, XML/XSLT/XSLT) and/or business logic development using industry-standard tool
Solid understanding of N-tier architecture
Object oriented analysis and design
Experience with J2EE a plus
