Description
As Workflow Application Developer you will provide programming expertise for the purpose of developing new software product applications. The primary responsibility of this position is to create and maintain software integration components according to specified parameters. The application will automate existing processes and be used by various departments working in a seamless fashion. The design and development has been structured to allow interim releases and will require enhancement of delivered units as existing module are developed. The person in this position will work closely with business systems analyst and project technical lead to ensure the software they produce meets a high standard for quality. Programmer must also work to fix all bugs reported during development in a timely manner and maintain current workload. The programmer should work with their supervisor to ensure that the program being developed meets the requirements of the application. Proficient in extending application with calls to native programming modules Works with user groups in developing intuitive and usable interfaces Develop applications according to specified parameters using advanced next generation proprietary application development framework (.Net-based). Fix reported bugs and apply enhancements It may also be necessary for the programmer to develop detailed specifications and/or technical documentation before and after developing applications.Minimum Qualifications: 2+ Years experience with Microsoft .Net technologies. 4 Years of experience using relational databases Strong PL/SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle utilities Experience with the product lifecycle and strong understanding of the role of methodology/frameworks Ability to work independently on select tasks and integrate into a larger development group. Good communication skills with technical and business groups in solidifying business requirements, data flows, application specifications Experience with object-oriented design and programming techniques 3+ Years experience with Visual Studio, Visual Basic, etc Provides application documentation as components are delivered Efficiently manage versioning of code release Familiarity with Windows, Linux operating systems Proficient in use of database trigger/procedure to enforce data integrity BS Degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field.Desired Qualifications. Experience with Metastorm Ework or Adobe Workflow systems and programming models. Experience with Oracle 8.x or greater. Experience with C#, VB.Net, JScript and/or .Net web services.
