Job Description * Under minimal direction, formulates and defines initial standards specifications' scope and objectives based on both members defined needs and a good understanding of XML, XML development tools, related transport Internet infrastructures, and the business processes supporting auto industry requirements. Applies extensive knowledge of members'
businesses and the auto industry to draft STAR specifications. Analyzes members' needs, documents requirements, and translates into proper STAR standards specifications. Advises on methods to improve specifications. Considers the implications of the standards to the current and future business environment. Leads the training of members and peers.

Job Requirements
1. Required * extensive experience with XML and XSD messages and the use of several popular parsers.
2. Preferred - strong knowledge of business process modeling techniques
3. Preferred - experience as lead data architect designing and implementing enterprise data solutions based on XML
4. Preferred - strong knowledge of ebXML and Web Services and related standards
5. Preferred - knowledge of metadata management and data modeling, including
hands-on experience with related software tools
6. Required * extensive Project Management and communication skills
7. Required - strong planning and analysis skills
8. Recommended - application development experience including relational databases and schema implementation

Education/Certifications or equivalent required: BA or BS degree in CS, MIS, or related field required

Relevant Work Experience: 5+ Yearsdf-tc
