Description
Zoe Mode is an independent developer based in Brighton (UK) that specialises in social games for non-traditional gamers. They believe that there is a video game for everyone and that there is a great opportunity to grow the market by targeting non-serious gamers with games they will enjoy!

They are currently working on projects with a number of AAA publishers and are focused on creating innovative titles with a wide appeal; this role is for an as yet unannounced PS2/Wii and Xbox360 title for a prestigious publisher.

Working closely with other programmers to design, implement and test systems and technology, you would work in small multi-disciplinary teams, under the guidance of the lead programmer and be responsible for the programming system and technology using agile methods.

Educated to degree level, you will have an excellent working knowledge of C++, ideally with experience in Visual Studio.net, Codewarrior debugger and Perforce (or similar). Strong maths skills and a background in graphics programming would be seen as beneficial, as would an understanding of Lua or agile methodologies such as scrum.

A passion for games is essential and previous industry experience would be desirable, particularly next-gen development. Above all you will be a team player with excellent communications skills, a sense of humour and want to make games that are stylish and fun!df-tc
