We have an immediate need for an iSeries Systems Administrator - Remote JOB DESCRIPTION Provide iSeries services to install, operate and maintain complex centralized and/or distributed computer systems. Understands and ensure compliance of Systems Management Control (SMC) disciplines. The major responsibilities encompassing iSeries Service Delivery include: Designs, implements and coordinates complex system solutions to ensure acceptable performance levels with proven and advanced systems technologies. Analyzes and resolves complex problem situations for systems, networks and applications. Operate iSeries computer systems. Implements, maintains or directs the business recovery plan and procedures for major systems. Plans, coordinates and performs work activities and assignments in support of systems, networks, I/O sub-systems, peripherals and applications. Additional skills required - HA (High Availability), LPAR, HMC, OS/400 upgrades, PTF/CUM management, BRMS, performance, security, and teamwork.
