Responsibilities
Gather requirements, analyze, design, code, test, and implement both batch processes/programs and stored procedures for new development
Maintain and support existing systems
Advise or collaborate with developers on solutions to issues, data architectures, system facilities/capabilities and the operation/tuning of databases
Provide on-call support on a rotating basis
Technical Qualifications
z/OS, JCL, COBOL, DB2, SQL, Syncsort, COBOL Stored Procedures
Full Life Cycle methodology
BMC DB2 utilities, MQSeries, C/C++, UNIX, SAS a plus
Other Qualifications
Excellent communication skills (listening, persuasiveness, oral, written)

Ability to work with minimal direction from management

Experience with pricing and yield management systems a plus

Education/Experience
BS/BA in appropriate field or equivalent training and experience
5+ years systems development experience
5+ years - z/OS, JCL, COBOL, DB2, SQL, Syncsort experience
IBM certifications a plus
