Description
Our client is seeking a Systems Developer with a Bachelors Degree in an IT related discipline and 3+ years of experience in an applications development environment with emphasis using Microsoft toolsets. Experience in Web-based software application development experience to include: VB.NET / T-SQL / Reporting Services / JavaScript / XML / HTML / DTS / Classic ASP / HTML / web-based forms internet integration server (is) / active directory(ad) / SQL Server 2003 & 2005, SSIS, Visual Studio Team system. c)Understanding of intranet / extranet development / reverse proxy/SharePoint portal / windows SharePoint services. Understanding of impacts of multiple locations spread out globally connected by wide area network of varying speeds with varying desktop configurations. Systems developer must have understanding of multiple language, currency and locality impacts for use and development of web services. Systems Developer must have good software development practices including controlled processes and separation of development, test, and production environments. A strong understanding of the software toolset used by the group hired into including experience in coding, analysis software deployment and troubleshooting. Candidate must have working knowledge of and experience working with the functional systems for the area assigned, such as (but not limited to) Manufacturing, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, etc. preferred.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Responsible for fulfilling the company's requirements for information and systems by designing, developing, maintaining and providing user support to deliver effective application software systems. Works independently with some supervision from the Manager, Applications Development. Proactively participates in identifying information problems and defining solutions for management approval. Candidate will participate in developing designs of systems by preparing the flow diagrams, input formats, file layouts, calculations and output formats for consensus agreement with users. Structures, writes, tests, debugs, documents, and installs new computer programs utilizing departmental programming standards and procedures. The developer will also modify, tests debugs, document and install previously developed systems and other purchased software. Assists computer operations group in selecting, procuring and installing new equipment and in fixing production program problems. Developer is well versed on the complexity of communications and data base systems when designing and changing programs which affect these critical components. Responsible to insure standards and good programming methodologies are utilized.
