ROLE:

Be part of a dynamic team that is enjoying high-growth! Enhance the functionality of interface applications that communicate with stock exchanges and customer order management systems for the Equities Connectivity team. Install, administer and support FIX connectivity and applications.

• Provide ongoing support of business and technology connectivity requirements
• Install/implement exchange and customer connectivity in production
• Monitor application and system performance
• Help identify methods to improve resiliency
• Troubleshoot connectivity problems in production

REQUIRED:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• UNIX/Linux background
• vi or emacs editor skills

PREFERRED:

• UNIX Shell Scripting/Perl programming desirable
• Experience in database, Sybase preferable
• Experience in multi threaded application desirable
• Experience in network programming desirable
