Mastech Inc is a growing company dedicated to innovation and teamwork. We are currently seeking a webMethods Developer for our client in the Insurance, Finance domain. Compensation: $45 - $50/ Hourly

Role: webMethods Developer

Role Description: The webMethods Developer would need to have at least 5 years of experience. This Candidate would work with the team to enhance the existing webMethods web service integration. This application consumes ACORD XML, and so ACORD XML is a MUST. The Developer would provide mapping and transformations, and update a staging database. The candidate would be involved in webMethods technical design, and be responsible for coding, testing, and supporting webMethods solutions developed.

Responsibilities:

- Act as a resource point for technical items for the project team.
- Help drive the design process defining/documenting technical specifications and plan.
- Participate in system, integration, performance testing, and disaster recovery testing.
- Answer client questions and train/mentor on use of application.
- Responsible for the development of the existing web applications.
- Update and add content to existing web site.
- Develop programming and assess testing.
- Develop the implementation of the web information.

Required Skills:

- webMethods, Java, and Web Services.
- Acord XML is a Must.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Professional: Business Writing, Documentation, Leadership, Oral Communication, Organization, Planning, Project Life Cycle, and Teamwork.
- Desktop: Basic Knowledge.
- Miscellaneous: SQL Windows.
- Office/Email: MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.

Desired Skills:

- Operating System: UNIX, Windows 2000, and Windows NT.
- Languages: CICS and COBOL.
- Project Management.
- Business: Annuity-NB, Dl-NB, Life-NB, and Recognition.
- Databases: DB2, MS SQL Server, and MSAccess.
- Data Warehousing.
- MS Power Point and MS Project.

Education: Bachelor's degree
