I have 13+ immediate Permanent positions for IT Consultants with 3 to 5+ years hands-on experience as an xSeries Linux Technical Specialist. You must have 3 to 5+ years IT Consulting with large external clients including xSeries hardware systems and microcode implementation configuration and support, Linux, Red Hat, xSeries servers, bladecenter servers, Clustering, VMWare, DS4000, SAN Switches, NAS, etc; Client Leadership Skills. It is helpful if you have hands-on experience with IBM Director, MS Windows, SAN storage, tape, PD/PSI skills, Altiris and NetApps.

You will be responsible for providing IT services in a billable project/engagement. The IT Specialist assists in delivery of high quality solutions to clients in response to specific business requirements. The IT Specialist provides analytical support necessary to develop and implement solutions for small to medium size projects or components/elements of larger projects. On occasion, will provide technical advice to project managers/leaders and can give technical direction to team members such as subcontractors or client personnel. Analyze technical problems and create solutions involving the use of existing techniques or tools. IT Specialist may assist in the identification of new IT services opportunities.

You can live anywhere in the US as long as you have easy access to a major airport. These positions require up to 100% travel Monday through Friday. You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, and we prefer a 4-year degree BSCS, BS MIS, BS CIS, etc. Excellent verbal and written English communications skills required.

This position includes the following:
* Permanent position with large corporation.
* Annual salary of $70,000 to $108,000+ (Target = <$95,000).
* Excellent full benefits package; bonus potential.

* 40 to 50 hour work week.
* Up to 100% travel Monday through Friday, home weekends.
