z/OS Programmer - KL-z/OS

Duties:

• Install, upgrade and maintain zSeries hardware, LPAR setup & z/VM


• Develop and implement strategies and best practices


• Problem management and make recommendations for resolutions


• Technical leadership for planning, installing, testing, implementing, documenting and maintaining Mainframe operating system software


• Maintain and modify SMS environment


• Deploy and administer fixpacks and updates


• HMC maintenance

Requirements:

• Data communication knowledge (SNA, TCP/IP)


• Capacity planning


• Z/OS security framework and RACF skills


• Knowledge of SAN a plus


• JCL, VTAM, CICS, TCP/IP
