3 on, 3 off - 6AM - 6:30PM and 6PM - 6:30AM are the 2 available shifts

Intertec Consulting is seeking System Administrators experienced with managing Problem & Critical Situation events. This is a long term contract opportunity. In this role you will be part of a 7x24 team that expedites technical recovery of Critical events that directly impact business operations. You will provide real time communication to business and management detailing recovery plans, action and status. Initiate pro-active repeatable processes to prevent recurrence. Role & responsibilities:

Accountable for critical event recovery
Provide onsite command center supervision during a crisis
Owns technical escalations
Drives technical bridge calls
Owns real time Availability Manager notification
Ensure appropriate level of technical and business skills are engaged
Ensure that accurate chronology of critical events are captured and documented
Coordinate and authorize recovery plans and actions
Process and tools development
Critical change window enforcement
Participate in weekly change coordination activities
Review change plans, scripts and windows for impact and completeness
Participate in post-mortem (RCA) review of critical problems

Required Skills: z/Series / Mainframe or iSeries / AS400 System Administration Experience
Leadership & Communication Skills are Extremely Important
